When we talk about fashion in Italy, we immediately think about Milan, one of the most important cities in the world for the fashion system.


If you love shopping, in Milan you can find everything you’re looking for: vintage clothing, luxury shoes, trend accessories and designer’s clothing. You can carefully explore each store if you live in the city, but if you are a tourist and you have just a few days to visit them, you can select only some and they have be the right ones.


Perhaps you have heard about the Quadrilatero della moda (Quadrilateral of fashion), the high-class shopping district in the center of the Italian city, characterized by the presence of numerous and famous boutiques and related retail outlets which represent most of the world’s major fashion houses. The sides of the Quadrilatero are south of the arches of Porta Nuova, and are composed by Via Montenapoleone, Via della Spiga, Via Manzoni and Corso Venezia.

A unique shopping experience of fashion, beauty, accessories, food and design is set in the historic building of the Galleria del Corso 4, in the heart of the city. Do not miss Carla Sozzani’s shop and gallery at N°10 of Corso Como and the retailer department store in the area of clothing household and beauty products La Rinascente, which you can also find in others important Italian cities such as Rome, Turin, Genoa, Florence, Cagliari, Palermo, Catania, Padova and Monza.


A must destination for the shoes-addicted is the historic boutique La vetrina di Beryl in Via Statuto, 4. It’s a great place located in the heart of Brera Neighborhood and offers unbelievable footwear, bizarre, original and luxury shoes.


In the flagship store Il Salvagente in Via Fratelli Bronzetti, fashionistas can find a very interesting collection of up-and-coming young designers and the best of made in Italy at bargain prices. So if you want to pay less the most expensive clothing, go there! Alberta Ferretti, Balenciaga, Burberry, John Galliano, Etro, Dolce & Gabbana, Marc Jacobs and Hogan are just some brands you can find.
