Who decides your holiday destination?
Well, anyone decides his/her own destination, of course. But… if you have kids, does something change? You would maybe make a short research on places to go with kids before taking a final decision.
There are certainly places most suitable for children, but you can find places to go with kids even in unexpected cities or regions.
If you’re visiting Cagliari, for example, you can find lots of interesting activities, which let you experience the city while your kids have fun!
Here a list of places to go with kids in Cagliari and nearby:
- Poetto Beach
The first thing coming to mind is the long sandy beach of the city. Shallow waters, several beach activities and the convenient kiosks at the beach are able to assure a pleasant and relaxing day!
You can’t miss “visiting” almost one Gelateria! One of the most central ones and easy to reach is the one in Piazza Yenne, but you need to try others to decree which one makes the best Gelato of the city…
- The touristic little train
Exploring Cagliari by foot is the best way, but the little train is a good solution if your children are tired: it allows you to visit the old town of Cagliari, comfortably set and with multilingual guides! You can catch it in the centre of the town and buy tickets on the bus. Free for children up to 3 years.
- Blufan, Pula
Less than an hour from the city centre, you can find one of the best places to go with kids: the Water Park of Pula, which boasts an entire section exclusive for children.
- The Parks of Monte Urpinu, Monte Claro, Terramaini…
What better than a pleasant walk through the green, enjoying spectacular views of the city and avoiding the hot of summer afternoons?
- The pink flamingos
You can find the pink flamingos in the pounds around the city and simply enjoy the view of these coloured “red people”, as they are called by locals, which have decided to call Cagliari “home”.
