Montiro Hotel

Position
Immersed in the countryside of Puglia, Montirò Hotel is just a few km from Santa Maria di Leuca, a characteristic small town set on the southern tip of the Salento Peninsula. Just outside town, visitors will find Punta Meliso with a splendid view of the meeting point of the two seas, the Adriatic and the Ionian.

All around stretches the beautiful coast of Leuca with its bays, caves and some of the best-known beaches in the area, known as the ‘Maldives of Salento’.

Hotel
Montirò Hotel is set in the midst of an estate stretching for more than 5 hectares, with simple stone architecture, recalling the ancient pajare, typical rural constructions to be found in the Salento countryside.

The bright light of the South illuminates a lush Mediterranean garden with stretches of lawn and olive trees, and home to the brand new pool with solarium.

Everything on the estate is designed to offer guests a ‘green’, truly relaxing stay: there are a number of spaces to stop and chat, read a book, listen to music or just enjoy the scenery in silence.

Rooms
The lush garden embraces the six independent stone-clad structures housing Montirò’s 38 rooms. Distributed over the ground and first floors, the rooms all look over the garden with a patio or terrace, with splendid views over the surrounding countryside or the sea of Santa Maria di Leuca. Every detail adds to the sensation of relaxation: pale colours, exquisite materials, floors in Trani stone, hand-crafted wooden furniture.

Beach 
In the surrounding area there are several beautiful beaches to reach, also with beach club and the hotel staff will be glad to recommend you, where to go.

Restaurant
The hotel restaurant offers dishes of classic Mediterranean cuisine and brings to the table the best ingredients available in the Salento territory. Guests can choose between an external dining area and an internal air-conditioned area.

The rich breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of oven goods, with cakes and pastries prepared by the pastry cook, jams, cheeses and local specialities. The kitchen is equipped to handle the needs of guests with dietary problems.

Services & Activities
Hotel guests have free access to the internal vehicle parking area (no surveillance), the pool and solarium, the garden and all common areas. Price of the stay includes the use of Wi-Fi connection and push bikes.

Payment of a supplement will ensure transfer to/from the airport, guided trips, boat rental and use of the diving and surfing centre.
