Masseria Fontanelle

Location 

The masseria is located about 8 km from Ugento, between Gallipoli and Santa Maria di Leuca, about 5 minutes away from the beach of Marina di Torre San Giovanni and within a unique natural context: the Regional Natural Coastal Park of Ugento.

Hotel

The masseria was founded as a convent between 1600 and 1800 and has been skilfully renovated and converted into a hotel surrounded by greenery, functional and equipped with many services that make a stay here extremely relaxing and pleasant.

Rooms

The comfortable rooms of Masseria Fontanelle have independent access and are located in a main building (masseria) and a slightly detached one.
Furnishings are minimalist and in harmony with their surroundings.
The rooms in the Vista, Patio and Masseria categories can accommodate only two people, while Junior Suites have two separate rooms: a double bedroom and a living room with a sofa bed for a third guest.

Beach

The Torre San Giovanni beach is part of the Marina di Ugento coastline and of the so-called Apulian Maldives. It can be reached by the shuttle bus provided by the masseria or by the bicycles made available to guests.

Each room has a sun umbrella and two sun beds assigned for the entire stay at Lido Pineta, and the Masseria rooms and Junior Suites have the first row.

Wellness Centre 

Sanctuarium Spa at the Masseria Fontanelle provides free access (upon reservation) to the following services: partially covered heated pool with hydromassage, Turkish bath, sauna, Kneipp path. Treatments and massages can be booked on site, at an additional charge.

Sport

Masseria Fontanelle has a brand new padel court and offers its guests advanced outdoor fitness equipment. There are also yoga, meditation and pilates classes, as well as private lessons for a fee with specialised instructors.

Restaurant

Le Serre Restaurant is located in the highest part of the masseria and serves a continental buffet breakfast and dinner.
Local products from the hotel's own garden is the restaurant's pride and joy.
